As we sing these traditional words at the end of each game, at the conclusion of the installation assembly, and during graduation exercises, Sacramento High School spirit merges all individual thoughts and emotions into a heart-stirring and overwhelming unity. This custom of singing our school anthem at these events, started as it was by our predecessors a century ago, has become an important phase of life at our school. Truly it is one tradition which is largely instrumental in bringing both the graduate and the undergraduate together with a profound sense of belonging, of being an integral part of the greatness of our Alma Mater. However, many of the other activities which we enioy have also evolved through the years and now are accepted as traditional at Sacramento High. Loyal Sacramento Dragons have learned to revere the school colors purple and white. incoming Sophomores have met new friends at their Sophomore Reception and their Sophomore Hush and have ioined as a class to present the Sophomore Hop. juniors have had the thrill of planning and attending their Prom, and Seniors have enioyed such highlights as the Senior Ball, the Senior Banquet, and the Senior Play. These pleasures and many others in the memory of each individual have served to unite the Sacramento Senior High School Student Body into what we firmly believe to be the greatest student body in the world? Still another favorite tradition is the annual, whose pages each year attempt to set down in print the history of this, our high school. Here in the ,58 Review is the record of our accomplishments and those of our schoolmates. Here we see how our class has followed the conventional pattern of the past and yet, at the same time, has added some iiavor of its own generation to the traditions of former years . . . airs - . ..'.:'agu'f N Hrffiiffg 5
