To the grad- uating classes of 1956, we present this Review of the activities of you and your fellow students during this the Centennial Year of our schoolis history. Past Reviews have given us a picture of our school's progress. From its first enrollment of thirty-nine students and its first graduating class of only two, Sacramento Senior High School has grown to take its place in this modern world in which we live. This year, with an enrollment of 2,900 students and graduating classes of almost LOO0, our school stands for the greatest in educa- tional opportunity, the finest in citizenship training, and the best in a well- balanced school life. XVe now find ourselves at a branching of our ways. Behind us lie our past three years at Sacramento High. What is to come as each one of us proceeds along his separate pathway into the future is not known. But what has occurred during our stay here has been good. The memories that we all cherish of our high school days will, however, gradually become cloudy. Those events which once were all important - the Senior Play, the Variety Show, the Senior Ball - will give way to matters of greater importance - our jobs, our families, our community. And so the Review will serve as a stepping stone from our past to our upresentv, that which we now call the future. None of us wish to forget the happiness of high school days, and with this Review as a guide none of us will. ffl We . ,JV ff , .. -e sa fi ei 5332?
