Student Body Government The student body government of the Sacramento Senior High School is founded on the principles of government set forth in the Constitution of the United States. The governmental activities are divided into three departments: the legislative, the executive, and the judicial. The legislative department is the senate, which enacts laws concerning the welfare of the student body. The executive department is the cabinet, made up of ten students who are charged with carrying out the provisions of the laws passed by the senate. The judicial department is the supreme court, which is composed of three students and two faculty members and which interprets questions arising over the wording and meaning of the school constitution. There is also a student government class comprised of student body officers and others interested in student affairs. This Sass conducgi-investigations into student body and school needglanclurrians recommendations to the principal. By these methods the students of the school receive valuable training as future voters and citizens of the United States. BILL ROBERTS TOM COUCH President Fall Term President Spring Term Page Fifteen
