Unit that was sta¬ tioned at Sacramento College from August 1943 to May 1944. One of the soldiers, PFC Burt T. Krueger, was designated to pose in a series of pictures as the typical A.S.T.P. stu¬ dent. On January 8, 1945, PFC Krueger was fatally wounded on a battlefield somewhere in France. This book is in memory of him and of others who have given their lives in this war. To the left is a portion of a letter written by Krueger to his parents in June, 1944, that was published this April in a pamphlet as an Easter message to the men and women of the Tractor Works in Chicago who are serving in the Armed Forces.
