VARSITY BASKETBALL Coach VanOrman, our new coach, brought the Varsity team through a very successful season. Four veterans-Jimmy Littlefield, Norman Townsend, Bob Venery, and George Gamble-bolstered the team but all the boys really worked hard and, winning or losing, showed amazing fighting spirit to the end. There was a much improved tally from previous years with nine wins and seven defeats and an offensive average of 65.9 points during the regular season. The season ended with the Indians in fourth place in the Oswego-Jefferson League.
