52fP.E. P.E Then Some With high school being as busy as it is and all the activities it has to offer you, some people might think Who needs P.E.? But according to coach Denny McCrotty, everyone needs physical education. Not only were the P.E. instructors con- cerned with the physical aspects of the class, but they also tried to plan activities that would interest their students. Students started out their year swimming at the brand new Hickey Pool, and from there went into other interesting activities varying from archery to disco dancing. i. v A ' :rad SD 9 - b Y 1 lj Teri Smith has a leg-raising experience while skating. 21 Hank Fletcher demonstrates to other P.E. participants the correct way to jump on a trampo- line. 31 One of the new activities students were involved in this year was swimming at the new Hickey Park Pool. 1 5' :ii- a fly ff.
