I Ain't No Good In English - But Gettin' Better English is more than just subjects and verbs. From foreign languages to drama, many facets of language arts was taught in the English Department. For students trying to rid their fears of talking to a large group, there was speech. Spanish, French, and German were offered for students wishing to learn the customs and languages of other countries. Students could learn about radio and television, photography, and advertising in Journalism I or get some practice in publications in Journal- ism Il. The variety of math courses offer the foundation for almost any career. The Math Department has classes on many differ- ent levels, from Practical Math to Calculus, for the very math- minded. At first, all were more than challenging, but Scholas- tically, I believe the classes are getting easier as we get adjust- ed to thinking again. - Mile Ogle When a sophomore enrolls in Biology I, he has no idea what adventures lie ahead of him in the Science Department. If Biology I appealed to him, his only problem is which science course to choose next. A deeper knowledge can be gained from Biology II.
