So says Julie Fry, co-editor of the RUSKIN HI- LIGHT, about Mr. Wrisinger, the sponsor. We try to have a responsible paper, he says, as his students center the articles around relevant topics rather than gossip columns. 1974 was the first year in ten years the staff had to rely on subscriptions to operate. Then too, not only was this the largest staff ever, but it was the first time that there had been underclassmen on the staff. Along with producing the newspaper, the staff also con- tributes to MISSOURI YOUTH WRITES, and seven members write for the JACKSON COUNTY ADVOCATE, SOUTH SUBURBAN NEWS, and RED BRIDGE NEWS. What the financial situation of the All Missouri RUSKIN HI-LIGHT will be is anybody's guess, but we know the quality will never suffer.
