RUSKIN ' S ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Mr. Douglas Lawrence has served the Ruskin school district in varied cap- acities for seven years. Many of us knew him as a fine, outstanding teacher, who enrichedtheday of eachof his many students. Then, at the beginning of the second semester of 1961, he stepped into the position of assistant principal. He not only has helped our principal, Mr. Steck, but he has guided the student body toward higher goals, to make this a model school. His tact, friendliness, and sincere interest in the students have endeared him to the heart of Ruskin. Our sincere thanks and the dedication of this, the 1962 Mirage, go to Mr. Douglas Lawrence.
