Junior High Displaying vim and vigor the junior high basketball team ended the season with a 12- von 4-loss record. Through teamwork, determination and good sportsmanship, the jun- ior high squad found the path tn victory in the junior high tournament at Tavlor Uni- versity. The junior high won other awards at the tourna- ment at Upland. Eighth grader Randy Taylor was the recipient of the good sports- manship award, while the junior high yell leaders were judged first in the yell leading contest. The happy yelling and singing of the Burris fans, similar to that of our own onK minutes before, was a droning nuisance leaving an emptv feeling in each of our stomachs. Th(jugh there was no real pain, the tears flowed freely and even the boys had triiulile keeping their composure. It vas over. It onlv lasted about an lii ' ur. but it seemed like eternity.
