The happy yelling and singing of the Burris fans, similar to that of our own onK minutes before, was a droning nuisance leaving an emptv feeling in each of our stomachs. Junior High Displaying vim and vigor the junior high basketball team ended the season with a 12- von 4-loss record. Through teamwork, determination and good sportsmanship, the jun- ior high squad found the path tn victory in the junior high tournament at Tavlor Uni- versity. The junior high won other awards at the tourna- ment at Upland. Eighth grader Randy Taylor was the recipient of the good sports- manship award, while the junior high yell leaders were judged first in the yell leading contest.
