GIRLS IN ACTION Although the Girls Athletic Asso- ciation of Royall may be a fun club , its purpose is to encourage participation in sports and to pro- mote fair play and good sportsman- ship among all girls, The girls meet once a week to develop their skill in such sports as football, volleyball, basketball, tumbling, apparatus, badminton, and softball. ln Spring they meet with various schools in the area to compete in track and field. At the end of the track season the girls compete in the state track meet. The best athletes receive awards and letters at the end ofthe year. Where What?

FUTURE HOM M KERS P25955 New members of FHA were initi- ated into the organization at the annual fall slumber party. This year the girls played games and watched a horror movie. fThe movie must have really been a shocker because the girls didnlt get to sleep till 5:00 a.m.j Royall's FHA takes part in the dis- trict Fall Rally in which several other chapters attend. Each year Royall sends four delegates to the FHA State Convention in hopes that they will return with new ideas for our chapter.
