Cla££ Prophecy, “Flight 15 now boarding at Gate 3.” Making my way toward the plane, I felt a hand on my shoulder. Jim Sterba, a CBS salesman of Doberman movies, was stand- ing there as big as ever. Boarding the plane together, we met Nancy W ildes, flight hostess, who showed us to a couple of seats. After take-off we started dis- cussing the whereabouts of our old “62” classmates. Bill Collins, we found, is working in the Eastern section of Wisconsin, perfect- ing a school for perfect students. Donnie Kaus and Rodney Klipstein are pilot and co-pilot respectively on a new airline known as TPA—Trans Planet Airlines—owned and operated by Gerald Knudtson. Doug and Dennis Spencer own a string of fishing harbors along the Baraboo Creek—they also grow their own worms—on a fertilizer perfected by John Zinke. Virginia Maxwell signed up with Rubinoff’s Concert after graduation . . . They have a new piano player—Marvin Triebs ... Rubinoff has retired because of a headache. Jim Schauer is working on his Dad’s farm experimenting with different kinds of corn. Carol Solchenberger is married and has four of the cutest, but roughest, boys on the block, two of which are twins. Barb Egan, editor of the Women’s Magazine of Cosmetics, features Helen Schulz as her cover girl Eliot Ness has finally caught up with “Capone Stehr, or Dick, as we knew him. Marge Nelson, a beautician of Elizabeth Arden’s” in Chicago, specializes in permanent waves for men. Mike Mashak’s Meat Market, Inc., features meats from around the world. Also in the meat business—although at the other end of it is Rudy Wopat—he makes hot dogs. Judy Hemerley is our good will ambassador to Russia . . . We are now on the verge of World War III. Dick Bunk is Mr. U. S. Astronaut-he always was one to get away from it all! Norville Wildes is a professor of the languages. He is going to master English first and then work himself up. Donna Rhadans is running Rhadan’s Airport with great satisfaction. One of her best customers is Peter Toppen, who just bought a whirlybird. Diane Ormson and Irene Gschwendner have improved the substance called “laughing gas”. They don’t need it, but the “lonely hearts” club has made very good use of it.
