Illllllllll min Presents THE 1983 RECORD DEDICATION Mr. Charles DiGiovanna Mr. Fred Zerega The class of 1983 dedicates our yearbook to Mr. Charles DiGiovan- na and Mr. Fred Zerega in appreciation for the time they so unselfishly spent, the help they so willingly gave, and the friendship that they so graciously offered. We thank you both Mr. DiGiovanna and Mr. Zerega. Class of ’83 2 PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Nothing is an empty as lives filled with consuming loneliness and gnawing regrets about what might have been. 1 he poetry and songs of centuries echo in many ways the human calamity of unfilled hopes and smashed dreams. No such despair characterizes the Class of 1983. Your class, recognized from the beginning that high school is, in a sense, the last stop of your youth, and your experiences at R.C.S. seem to overflow with friendship, respect, and unforgettable memories of good school experiences. You have respected each other; you have found and cemented lasting relationships, above all, you have enjoyed yourself, blending academic seriousness with extra-curricular success. You have contributed and shared in the great accomplishments of the 1982-83 school year, the State Soc- cer C hampionship, Sectional Championship Teams, WGY Answer Please Championship, Regents Scholar- ship Winners, Band and Chorus Awards and your remarkable record for participating in the life of the school and making a difference by your greatest accomplishment of all — setting a positive example for the student body to follow. Rockets Baseball 61 Wrestling 62 In Memory Of Todd Brainerd Youth is laughter, friendship and love. It is a time for cheering at games, for sharing, for dancing, for listening to music, for walking through starlit nights. It is forever — even though tomorrow waits just beyond in the shadow of the sunlit day. You left too suddenly, but you will always remain young, happy and carefree in our memories. We miss you.
