THE SENIOR CLASS of 10XBURY CENTRAL SCHOOL PRESENTS THE 1981 RECORD Dedication We, the Senior Class of 1981, are proud to dedicate the 1981 Record to Francis Sherwood for he has dedicated many, many hours beyond those required by his job to help the students of the Roxbury Central School. His helpfulness has played an important part throughout our school years and we will remember his cheerful smile for many years to come. From all of us, thank you for the many things you’ve done for us and our wishes to you that the best years are yet to come. The Seniors FACULTY 4 Robert F. Prout Superintendent of Schools It has been my pleasure to review segments of this year’s “Record” prior to its publication. It is an outstanding yearbook and one which is highly reflective of the amount of work and dedication to excellence that went into its preparation. Not only does it serve as a record of events of this past year, but it captures the spirit, the very essence of our school. Years from now, it will continue to be your stepping stone to a happy reminiscence. This year’s “Record” has special significance because in 1980-81, we combined two great schools, rich in accomplishment and tradition, into one exceptional school. It has been a year of changes, adjustments and progress as slightly more than 450 students blended into one cohesive unit. The changes and adjustments were taken in stride, thanks mainly to the cooperation and understanding of students and faculty. e progress has been our ultimate goal of the finest possible education for every student in the “Number 1 School.” Sincerely, Robert F.
