You have been fortunate to live and grow up in Rox- bury where a spirit of pride, rapport and cooperation extend into all facets of our school and community. You have really counted in the community and have been recognized for your individual and group accomplish- ments. You have shared the excitement of our commu- nity Junior prom, the anticipation of the senior plays, the thrill of the season's first basketball game, the sec- tional championships, honor society inductions, con- certs, science fair projects, etc. The list is endless. It is this constant mingling of students, family, friends and generations that makes our school so special. I think back to an old phrase which says you are what you experience . Your years in Roxbury have instilled a sense of friendship, pride in tradition, success in accom- plishments and respect for the worth and dignity of oth- ers. In he years to come you will look back to these val- ues and gain strength from them. Robert F. Prout Principal 3

% CWtoofeoH We. the Class of 79. dedicate the 1979 Record to Ward Keator, Head Mechanic and bus driver at Roxbury Central School for the past 14 years. During that time he has been a willing friend to everyone. As we look back on our school years we will always remember him as our 6th grade Penn- sylvania trip chaperone and the man who so richly deserves the name of friend . . . our own Ward Keator. ■ 2
