Cof 1978 ••• • • •• MMM mia am: aaE (JLIOZI Cathy Hamilton Fred Zerega 2 iJn % cam tzf LCCL LbC sllo The town of Roxbury was stunned at the sudden and untimely loss of Ricci DiLello. A graduate of R.C.S., Class of ’77. Ricci was loved by all who knew him and by the same token his expression of love was well demonstrated not only among the student body but to the adult community as well. His winsome and affectionate smile will be remembered by all who knew him. Howard Cartwright will always be remembered as a man whose life-long concern was education in the greatest sense of the word. He gave unselfishly of his time and energy to serve Roxbury Central School District. His 20 years as a member of the Board of Education were devoted to the better- ment of the school. From July 1962 to June 1968. as President of the Board of Education, he helped lay the ground-work for the intellectual and physi- cal growth of the Roxbury Education system. 3 1l zdCcation We, the Senior Class, wish to dedicate the 1978 Record to a man who instills R.C.S. pride in all students. Coach Ely. Respected and a friend to everyone. Coach has contributed greatly to R.C.S. He has bestowed the importance of responsibility, loyalty, spirit, and honor upon each student. He has displayed an undying loyalty to our school, a willingness to understand and assist students. 4 (J- zLncLfiati A {£.±±a £. You will, in the near future, be a member of a very special group. Roxbury Alumni. There's something about R.C.S. that has touched everyone who has been associated with our school, something that has rubbed off on them in varying degrees, something that is built within all R.C.S. men and women that gives eternal pride. There is something about R.C.S. that brings together and binds together and holds together men and women of all persuasions, of all heights, sizes, weights, and cultural backgrounds — something that makes a man or woman stand taller and say, “I went to Roxbury. 5 fzadcztyujti zScfiooL Mr. Parnell 6 Mrs. Johnston AIIAtlNISl SeaifJ Ruth Carmeli President: Robert Prout. Japan, came to Roxbury as a Rotary Exchange student, and is enjoying her stay here very much. Hiroko's father is a high school teacher in Japan, and it is her ambition to follow her father’s footsteps. She especially would like to become a teacher of English in her native Japan. Hiroko’s warm friendly personality has won her many friends in Roxbury and she has made it a joyful experience for the families with whom she resided while in Roxbury. She enjoys skiing in Roxbury and is looking forward to visiting in Washington. D.C. on the Senior Trip. Thank you for being with us Hiroko. We enjoyed having you as a part of the school and community. 19 -PictllZEl Penny Donna Finchie David Suzy n m Cheryl Lisa Tom Louise Linda Denise Kenny 20 NAME NICKNAME KNOWN FOR IN TEN YEARS Cheryl Warner Shoobey Trips to M'ville Officer Warner Penny Hammond James Lateness ???
