Principal 's Message Few occasions in one’s life are of greater significance than the time he graduates from high school. It is a time you will remember throughout your life. While grad- uation and academic accomplishments may not be as exciting as basketball games and other spectacular events, they are far more lasting and meaningful and will mean more to you than virtually any other event of your young life. This yearbook is a testimony to your dedication to excellence and your appreciation of the accomplishments of your fellow students. While you face a period of tremendous hope and excitement, and I believe one in which you will receive much satisfaction of accomplishment, you are also stepping into a period of enormous challenge. Faculty Retirees Mrs. Marian Gibbs retired last year after 28 years of dedicated service as Nurse-Teacher at Rox- bury Central School. She was more than a nurse, she was a teacher of life. She taught us the meaning of friendship, the sweetness of sincerity, to act thoughtful and faithful in word and deed, the importance of responsibility and to have respect for each other. MRS. MARIAN GIBBS Mr. William Crawford retired just prior to our senior year. He had spent 27 years teaching Math and Science and had always been known to demand discipline and hard work from each of us. His presence has made our most important years in high school more meaningful. MR. WILLIAM CRAWFORD
