Jjrinc pa f s m essaye TO THE CLASS OF 1970 Dear Friends, As you leave these familiar halls to take your rightful place in society 1 have one request; please leave your special mark behind. You are another senior class, and yet, you are a unique group who have endeavored to be different. There is a certain difference, about you that has permeated and stimulated the student body to a greater awareness for the issues involved in education today. You have dared challenge traditions. You have dared face the reality of change. You have dared seek new and untried methods with die objective of improving opportunities for yourselves and others. You have dared face the issues of life squarely. You have endeavored to solve today's problems with today’s methodol- ogy. You have realized that schools are for children. Furthermore, as you have changed and resisted change, you have matured into persons who fully realize that what you are and what you will be is your sole responsibility. We, your friends at school, have only served as a catalyst in die direction of a desired end. You have done the work.
