They started.out the year with us, but they had to leave. Betty is in Harpersfield and Deanne in Davenport. Our class held a dance on February 12th. Also there were numerous bake sales during the year. Eileen Nesbitt is on the J.V. cheerleading squad. The J.V. basketball team is also partly made up of our Sophomore boys. 27

We also sold refreshments at the basketball game with Stamford. We recently received our class ringsg we are very proud of them. The class is well represented in F.F.A. and F.H.A.g on basketball and soccer teamsg and in the music department. Elwood and David are on the Varsity basketball squad, with Joanne and Ginnie G. representing the Junior class on the cheer- leading squad. 26

Billy moved to Roxbury from Grand Gorgeg he is living with his grandparents. One of our members-Alice DeMon1e-will not be with us for quite a while, because of a serious accident which occurred this fall. We miss her, and wish her a speedy and complete recovery. Many activities have been planned for the year, and we hope for a successful start in our high school careers. 25
