femur hhkfoffy As we glance back through the eraser dust, we feel that the past four years have whizzed past us as fast as the erasers we threw Con the slyl in study halls! Qgglgg Q33 Freshman xggg we gained one member, John O'Hara from Cobleskill, but we lost five other members of our illustrious group: Judith Broome, Mitzi Broome, Virginia Knapp, Douglas Shultis and Genevieve Votee. To start the year off right, we had a picnic at Shepard's Lake. Our first big money-making propositions were a movie called UThe Million-Dollar Kidn and a sensational Freshman dance, both on the same day. At the end of the first year the Junior Prom attendants were Evelyn Johannsen and Steve Enderlin. lg ggg Sgpggggrg year we lost six members: Glenn Whitney, Hazel Raeder, Waldo Todd, Eleanor Burger, John Pitkethly and Diana Smith. So in two years our class had dropped from thirty-one to twenty-one. we were all thrilled when the time for ordering our class rings arrived. Two successful dances were put on by our class. The Junior Prom attendants were Jean Cammer and John O'Hara. The Jg ior yggrls first thing was the arrival of our class rings. Times were getting tougher, and some kids were beginning to think of college. The biggest event of the year was the Junior Prom. The theme of the Prom was HThe Festival of Months.N Gilbert Tyler was the winner of the contest we had for selecting the Prom title. Many long hours of work were spent preparing for the dance. The orchestra was the NDelatiers.N The King and Queen of the Prom were Steve Enderlin and Jean Cammer- their attendants were Susan Munsell and John O'Hara. Alma Lepeltak, from Philadelphia, joined our class and we lost Marcia Krom. Well, on to the last and best year-we hope. Qgg Senior year we found that the eraser dust had thinned and our days at R.C.S. were numbered. To earn money for our Senior trip we sold magazines, stationery, candy, and had bakesales and dances. The Senior Play, uLet Me Out of Here,U was a smashing success. Miss Root was a little thinner after it! we are proud to say that we are the largest Senior class in the history of the school. Every student in our class put forth extra energy to make this the best yearbook ever put out at Roxbury. Caps and gowns have been ordered to remind us that the end of the year is near. The kids will soon be worrying about Regents. All will not be satisfied until the speeches are over and the diplomas have been received. we are all looking forward to the future! 16
