Friday, the Annual Homecoming Game was played with Cahokia. The victory over Cahokia was cele- brated bythe Crowning of the Queen and a dance in her honor which was held in the gyrnnasium Saturday Night. The stage was beautifully decorated with a backdrop of white and red with a red R in the center of a large gold shell. Blue and white streamers adjoined the backdrop. A foreground of blue completed the elaborate decorations. The annual coronation dance featured Johnny Mojo Wright, and his four piece combo. . ,, .s.

Larry Leamy, alternate host: Beth Underwood, hostg Miss Angeliki Laiou MISS ANGELIKI LAIOU VISITS RCHS Miss Angeliki Laiou visits Beth's typing class RCHS students at TV assembly Miss Angeliki Laiou was one of thirty-four delegates selected in nation-wide competition and brought to the United States as a guest of the New York Herald Tribune Transportation and all other costs attendant to their St. Louis visit were underwritten by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The delegates arrived in the United States December 29 fora three month stay. While in the New York area, each student was the guest of four differenthostfarnilies and high schools. The foreign students' visit to St. Louis during the week of February 2, 1958 marks the first time that the delegates to the Forum had the opportunity to journey into the heartland of the United States.. Before the foreign students arrived in the St. Louis area, hosts were appointed. Beth Underwood was appointed as a host and Larry Leamy as an alternate host. During her visit to RHS on Monday, Feb- ruary3 Angeliki attended Beth' s classe s. After school a reception was held in her honor. On Thursday afternoon twenty RHS students attend- ed a Forum-The World We Want- at University High School. On Friday the foreign students appeared over KETC from 2:00 to 3:00 p. rn, Mr. Major donated three television sets so the Roxana students could watch the program. .
