More and berrer oc- riviries were planned, more srudenrs become involved and more fun wos hod by all who porricipored The week ended wirh rhe ridiculous and rhe sublime — Halloween and Home- coming. The srudenr coundl ourdid rhemselves in planning evenrs for eoch day. Each day hod o rheme: Monday, 50 ' s Day; Tuesday, Deoch Do ' y (ond ir rained oil day!); Vednes- doy, Fururisric Day; ond Thursday, Sporrs Day. Each day hod conresrs and vorious evenrs ro compliment rhe rheme. Dance Contests, Best Dressed conresr and various relays took place everyday during lunch. However, rhe two most oursronding contests hod to be the Durger Whop- per Eoring Conresr ond rhe Pumpkin Reloy. The DWEC rook place in rhe hideout and pitted doss against doss. The ideo was to see which team could, one at o time, down o whop- per in rhe shortest rime. The reams were chee red on by o hideout- pocked oudience. The entire produc- tion was hilorious. Cheete buldged, dothes became spotted with food, and the audience roared. The Sopho- more Class become the disputed owners of the Piggy aown. The P( took ploce at noon on Holloween. Have you ever seen o person clutch pumpkin between their legs ond hop like o bunny? If you missed rhat race, you missed o good time. The rest of rhe cost also turned in fine performonces. Suson Georiety ond Pom Morales, who ployed the role of Agnes Gooch, did o fine portroyol of the moid who goes out to find life Revo Curron, rhe jealous Southern Delle; Donno Morio Hornson, rhe bosom friend of Mome: Liso Schreffler, rhe intended morherinlow, also ocred their porrs to perfection In oil, rhe show was o tremendous success.
