Mony thrilling victories and tournament trophies were brought home. A highlight of the season, however, was Tom Williams, who was named Sierra League Heavyweight Champion and Mike Pretzer, who was named Sierra League Champion for 157 lbs, 1 J.V, Team. Soccer made its first appearance as o school sport this year, fielding two teams— varsity and junior varsity. Because it was their first year, playing experienced teams from other schools proved to be a challenge. Although the team lost all their league games, they were not discouraged. Next year with a more experienced coach and more experienced players, they hope to improve their record. m ILii SOCCER
