Rowland High ' s Varsity Football team finished the season with no wins. In all their garmes only two touchdowns were scored. The team suffered from a lack of strong returing players, fielding mostly rookies this football season. Because of this, fumbles and interceptions seemed to haunt the team the entire year. Coach Rawis is looking forward to a more experienced team next year. Steve Perez Outstanding Valley Cross Country Runner The Varsity Cross Country Team finished the year second to Walnut in the Sierra League standings. The team placed three runners-Frank Riley. Steve Perez and Ray Cruz on the first team All-League, Outstanding honors this year went to Steve Perez who holds the best time (15 44) in the valley- Steve also won the Sierra League Varsity top honors, placed on first team all-valley and is MT.
