Sonya stamper, Chris Taylor, Sheri Woodruff Row 2 Krista Bourne, Shiela Garbrough, Rose Yanchura, ytelody Booker The Branding Iron was beset with many problems this year, problems that etfected the publication of the newspaper. Because not enough students signed up for the class, the class was combined with a ninth grade English class. Also Lisa Flores, the advisor, was only on campus two periods a week, while getting the paper printed has always been a problem, Few newspapers were published because of this.

RAIDER PRESS Second and third periods each day the presses are roiling in the print shop. The class is busily printing, the posters, bulletin, programs and newspapers needed by the school. Printing was made earlier this year because of the addition of two new machines— on IBM electric typewriter and a photo typesetter. 1. GUITAR Rowland ' s Guitar Club had a very enjoyable year. The members met during lunchtime to share their music with one another. While they played all the old favorites, they also learned many new songs. Pk: ' ' 1 - Bj W Mr. Williams, club advisor, gives pointers to Monica King on how to tune a guitar. 2. Club members — Anny Chiu, Chrystol Kelcey, Cassie Birdwell Lynn Kumogai, President Mike Pretzer, Cheryl Orrell, Mr, Williams and Monica King — a pickin ' and a grinnin ' . 3. Cassie Birdwell is lost in a world of music.
