Western Days again invaded the campus of Rowland High School this year. Suddenly boots, hats, jeans and bandanas along with other western itenns became the uniform of the day. Students could drink in the Saloon, get hitched at the hitching post, play their skill at poker, or attepmt any number of various activities that organizations on campus sponsored. Some of the most popular were the jail and the wheel of fortune. People also enjoyed the Science Field Club and their antics each noon on the grass area of the campus. Western Days again proved to be very popular with the students. 1 The jail was extremely busy everyday during lunch. Leslie Miller and Adam Coghan collect warrants. Sue Johnson and Jacob Lavanta look good behind bars, Mike Perez organizes a possie after an escape. 2. Annie Imahara end Barbara Espinoza fight over that mangy cowpoke. while eating lunch in the restaurant. 3. Mrs, Braith- waite buys her hat from Connie Molla and Nannette Morreale. 4. Mrs, Collup misses her egg, 5, The six legged race was very difficult for everyone, 6, Danny Duchanin takes advantage of the hitching pobt and marries two girls, 7, Mr, Nuccio, Rich Brimer and Gary Waltman get into a serious game of poker, 8, Bo Burch seems to have run into some trouble in upholding the law, 9, Mrs, Dunagan ' s third period class won the submarine sandwich for having 100% of the students, plus teacher, dress up western everyday.
