ROUND LAKE ILLINOIS SENIOR Activities 92 Underclassmen 63 Faculty 148 Sports 114 Music 165 Organizations 170 2 SCHOOL SONG Oh, let all schools that stand throughout the land Put up their banners proud and high. We will extend to all a friendly hand: The bonds of friendship let us tie. But out of all the schools that fight for fame, There’s only one that will remain: And that is Round Lake, Round Lake, here’s to you! We will not fail you, maize and blue. Hit ’em high! Hit ’em low! Go, team, go! But when they take the roll of fighting schools, They’ll find there’s one above them all. For it is maize and blue that proudly rules. Before our colors all will fall. 3 FIGHT! WE HONOR THIS MAN At this time the Laker staff would like to show their great appreciation and to give the rec- ognition that is due to Mr. Frank Lobaza. Mr. Lobaza investigated the situation, looking into things such as the prices for renting the ice. He then talked to Mr. Erdmann, who in turn brought the idea to the school board. But apparently the suggestion was brought up too late in the year to do anything about it this year. The students rented the Zion Ice Rink on their own, and played against other teams. They divided into two groups. One group, the Round Lake Ram- pants, are pictured above. They are: Top Row, left to right: Doug Garreau, Mickey Peterson, Jeff Ritter, Russ Checcin, Steve Mathews. Bottom Row: Rick Gerstenburger, Mike Garreau, Mike Rit- ter, Les Sebastian, and (not pictured) Bruce Eyre. The other group did not get their picture taken due to a slight misunderstanding. They are The Canadians and consist of: Dave Sutton, Derrick Walsh, Dan Sewall, Gary Dreyer, Dan Boody, Dave Wesoloski, Chuck Henry, Roger Jackson, and Len Noble. 138 139 Front: Mary Grabowski, Donna Wallis.
