ringing the past to life, understanding the happenings of the pres- ent, and looking into the future are what Fiossville's History Department is all about. The 1986-87 school year made its mark in history with an absence of space shuttle flights, a developing white house CONTRH scandal, the spreading fear of H.l.D.S., and the arrival of the President of the United States on the Purdue Cam- pus. The uear brought us many dif- ferent projects, including the por- trayal of figures from history. Gne local character, Speck Timmons, gave the history classes an in-depth personal view of what warlife was like for him. He an- swered their questions on what is just textbook history for the stu- dents but a time of real pain and fear for him. His presentation made historu come alive for them. Ronald E. Hrnold Toynbee pportunities to develop to their greatest artistic potential are offered to all RHS students. Rossville has supplied its students with their fair chance in all aspects of its choral, band, and art curriculum.
