A few short years from now, our exciting space explorations by rocket will seem commonplace. Henry B. Adams said. . . to the advancement and communication of knowledge, a teacher affects eternity: he can never tell where his influence stops. Who among us now can foretell what effects will be brought about in the future by the imaginative brain of some member ofthe Class of l967'.' Your opportunities are limitless and. as time progresses, the challenges offered you are infinite in variety. scope and attainability. lt is entirely up to you, as individuals. to apply further study and self'-discipline, further impetus. to the little beginnings we have given you here. Your own hard work. study. intensity. application and natural ability will carry you far. lie mindful that there is more to life than material success. Be an upstanding. actiye citilen of your famous city. your state and of your beloved country. Don't forget the God Who made you and to Whom you owe an ultimate accounting when your days are numbered. Your teachers are convinced of your basic moral goodness, despite the cynicism of the age. and we know that you will face the challenge of life boldly and capably.
