Brody CO - VALEDI S James Byrne ' 4.00 Following a college preparatory James Byrne has majored in English, Latin, speech and social science. In addition to his scholastic endeavors, Jim has participated in many activities. He has served his class and school as class vice-president in his junior year, as chairman of the senior executive com- mittee, as a member of the Student Council, and as director of two student millage committees. Jim has been active on the debate team and has held the lead role in several school plays. He has been elected president of the National Honor Society, Speech Club, C.L.A.V., Latin Club, Political Discussion Group, both the Roseville and Macomb County units of the Future Teachers of America, and editor of the 1964 Tower. Jim plans to attend Central Michigan University, where he will major in history. timttl E Judith Gandee, followingacollege pr y course, has majored in English, Lati sci ce and mathematics. She has received recognition for her scholastic achievement from the Na- tional Merit Scholarship Corporation, which awarded her its Letter of Commendation. A- part from her academic pursuits, Judy has remained active in various activities and organi- zations. Preparatory to a career as an English Teacher, she has been a member of the Future Teachers of America and is corresponding secretary of Macomb County Future Teacher Association. Donna Proefke 3.91 Donna Proefke has followed a college pre- paratory course, with majors in English, Latin, mathematics, and science. Besides maintain- ing her 3.91 scholastic average, she has been active in Latin Club, Future Teachers of America and the National Honor Society. Donna will attend Michigan State University, enrolling in the liberal arts department. Q CO - ALUTATORI S Patricia Rymar 3.91 Patricia Rymar has obtained majors in Eng- lish, French, social science and band. Aside from her college preparatory course, Pat has served as president of French Club, treasurer of the National Honor Society, secretary of the Spanish Club, and secretary of the band. She has also participated in the senior class ex- ecutive committee, two school plays and the Future Teachers of America. Pat plans to attend the University of Michigan, with a teach- ing career the object of her studies.
