Argyles and kneesocks were the hit of the evening when the seniors presented their Soc Hop . Some were a little reluctant at kicking off their shoes and kicking up their heels, but the dance was still a big success. Although the weather outside may have been at a tempera- ture below zero, the shuffling of stocking feet on the floor warmed the whole gymnasium so that everyone went home with tingling feet and pleasant memories.

The choir members took their seats, the undercurrent of con- versation was stilled, the lights dimmed, and the curtains opened to display the R. H. S. Band playing a rousing march. After a variety of music from the band, the choir took the stage and sang beautiful Christmas music. As a grand finale, the Band and Choir combined, rendered the beautiful Halleujah Chorus. The last note found the standing au- dience hushed in awe. After a few moments of perfect stillness, tremendous applause filled the air. -57.
