The Future Teachers of Roseville High School is a newly organized club under the sponsorship of Mrs. Coates and Mrs. Shirtliff. The officers elected at the first meeting were: President, Jen Dwyer: Vice President, Joyce Jakubiszeng Secretary, Anna Sassamang Treasurer, Pat Bisby. The object of the club is to learn about the teaching profession and the different colleges. The main activity of the year was to visit and observe one of the many college campuses in Michigan. The Roseville High School Varsity Club is composed of all letter winners who adhere to the training rules set up by the coaching staff. They have many functions among which are: Q15 Setting a good example for the rest of the student body, Q21 Promoting good sportsmanship in and out of school, C33 Through fund raising drives, provide sports equipment which could not otherwise be obtained for the school. senior home economics club In September the club initiated 60 members into the Junior Home Economics Club. At the first monthly meeting the officers elected were: President, Martha Wiggertg Vice President, Carol Coonferg Secretary, Kay Patton, Treasurer, Bonnie Brodziak. Every other month the meeting was a pot luck. A collection of clothes. toys, and food was as- sembled into boxes and given toa needy family.
