Panther EXTRA, EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT! PANTHER'S TALE BRINGS 'EM HOT If you decide to walk among the halls of RHS during fifth period, you will witness an amazing phenomenon. During this hour, members of the award winning Panther's Tale news- paper staff can be seen flitting around gathering information, busily typing a story in the back of room IS, or sitting staring into space trying to think of a headline. This I3-member group, advised by Mrs. Marjorie Bortz is responsible for printing the weekly RHS newspaper, writing the stories, thinking up headlines, past- ing up the pages, and making dead- lines. But this group firmly believes in the old saying that all move and no play makes Jack a dull boy. On their dead days when nothing is to be done. the staff enjoys having banana OFF THE PRESS split parties, potlucks, or simply sit- ting around gossiping about various happenings. This year's staff is very special as they get along so well. Mrs. Bortz describing it as a remark- able blend of personality types. This year's editors were Chris Efty- chiou, Audrey Brown, and Judy McGinley. 's Tale f Hi in I L A G T . e li? .2 Q l . 1
