1 llembers of Campus Christians often had the op- iortunity to have interesting and informative peakers at their weekly meetings. ekcellent program planned for its members at their lunch time meet- ings. The program included many fine speakers of all faiths who were heard throughout the year at the meetings. Taking charge first lunch was Gary Stahl, president both semesters and Mickey Brunson, vice-president, at second lunch. For the Variety Show, Campus Christians did a pantomine of Stan Freberg's record, Green Christmas, which showed how commercialized Christmas had be- come. This year's appearance was the first the club has ever made in a Variety Show. Doing a wonderful iob as club sponsor was Mr. Carter Dennis. The Campus Christians this year were, Row 1: L. Croteau, J. This year's Radio Club members were, Row I: Ken Epstein, W. Hays, E. Copeland, Row 2: Mr. Berry, J, Vasile, G. Easter, T. Wood. Chet tiene Compu 3 Av This year's Radio Club members were, Row iz K. Epstein, W. Hays, E. Copeland. Row 2: Mr. Berry, J. Vasile, G. Easter, T. Wood. Radio Club, though being in existence only two years here at school, has been very active. Students probably know the club as the one which sponsored the showing of the Mr. Magoo cartoons and other films about things such as cars, electronics during the lunch periods. Also of much enioyment to the student body was the playing of records during lunch. They boys studied electronics and its re- lationship to radio and television, how they operate, are made, and how they are repaired. At the time of this writing Radio Club was trying to obtain a Ham Operator's License for RHS. This license re- quires much effort to obtain and is held in high regard by those who have one. In the final weeks of that semester they had four guest speakers including Mr. James Roman who spoke about European schools, Dr. Nathan McCroy who talked about the duty of honor students, Mrs. Margaret Watson spoke The members of the C.S.F. during the first semester were, Row 1: D. Gray K. Thomas, T. Moore, D. Hughes, S. Hude. about her trip to Europe, and a Dr. Mil- ler spoke on the importance of a sound education. Early in January the officers of our C.S.F. went- with the officers from the C.S.F. at Arroyo High School to tour the campus at Whittier College. First semester officers were: Ken Thomas, President, Martha Casas, Vice President, and Deanna Dunkel, Secretary. 'fig During the Spring Semester the C.S.F. attended a conference at the University of Redlands. Though this was their only activity they benefited very much from it. Second semester officers were: Ken Thom- as, President, Martha Casas, Vice Presi- dent, and Barbara Caplette, Secretary. Ken Thomas also served as Commission- er of Scholarship on Commission both semesters. Attaining the high honor of being Sealbearers this year were: Martha Casas, Barbara Caplette, Valerie Han- , sen, Tom Moore, and Darlene Rowe. CS.F. for the Spring semester were, Row 1: L. This year the RHS Hi-Y, sponsored by Mr. Donald Fox, held their weekly meetings in Room 92 on Thursday mornings. Under the leadership of both semester presidents, Earl Durham and Rod Schreck- ler, the boys did such things as selling programs at football games ut and participating in the clean campus campaigns. They are part of the world affairs class and hold their weekly meetings each Wednesday during class time. The club is divided into two chapters: Alpha and Beta.
