Serving as the first editor of the Panther's Tale to ever hold that position for three consecutive quarters was Linda Berry. Mickey Brunson ably took over as editor for the fourth quarter, becoming the first junior ever to be editor. All during the year there were many deadlines to be met, pictures to be scheduled and taken, and copy to be written. During the first semester the Panther's Tale received a second class rating from the National Scholastic Press Association. Our Panther's Tale, a bi-weekly newspaper, received reinforcements for the second semester in the form of many Journalism I students. Some of these unacknowledged workers not pictured on this page were: Pat Amend, Audrey Hansen, Dan Koger, Sue Mosher, Linda O'Toole, Judy Shoff, and Rick Yamamoto.
