This formal dance, December Dreams with holiday decora- tions of green and white Christmas trees was co-sponsored by Sagaths and Vasity Club. Crowning of the royal couple, Queen R-uth Ellen and King Joe, was the climax of a wonderful evening ot danc- ing to the music played by the Tempos. Some of past years' Winter Ball royalty have been: 1957, Carol Spano and Dick Morris: 1958, Joanne Morris and Ron Argo.

M 3, ,rezr fr Her Maiesty . . . Marianne Oram The 10th anniversary of R.H.S. Homecomings was fittingly climaxed November l3, l959 by a thrilling victory over the San Gabriel Matadors. Half-time activities included the traditional Homecoming Parade of club floats around Pan- ther Field. Judged the best float was the one submitted by Key Club. Also during half-time was the thrilling moment when the Homecoming Queen and court were crowned, Following the game the Homecoming Dance, titled School Daze, with music provided by the Ardendale Jazz Sextet was held in the gym. Many, old ac- quaintances were renewed as students and alumni enioyed this dance which was spon- sored by Spinsters.

Wishbone Wishbone Wiggle Couple, Jim Grice and Corine Thompson. The girls' only chance to ask Their favorite fel- lows To a dance this year came on November 25, when the Girls' League sponsored their an- nual Thanksgiving Dance. The Wishbone Wig- gle was held in our gym from 8:00-11:00 p.m. with music supplied by The Continentals. The couples attending participated in several novelty dances including the Bunny Hop and the Mexi- can Hat Dance. The Wishbone Wiggle Couple was: Senior, Jim Grice and Sophomore, Corine Thompson. Wiggle Storybook Park in Alhambra was the scene ot this year's Valentine Dance on February 13, 1960. One hundred and seventy-tour couples attended and danced to the dreamy music ot The Tempos. Cupid's Holiday, as the dance was called, was co-sponsored by Pantheresses and Hi-Y. The climax of the even- ing was the drawing to determine Cupid's Couple who were Judy Griswold and Richard Mitchell. 3 Q Q I 'gd Chosen as Cupid's Couple at the Cupid's Holiday dance were Judy Q S j lj Griswold and Richard Mitchel.
