Geilendeiv of Event During December, Rosemead students attended the Winter Ball and the Varsity-Alumni Basketball game. ln January, election-time was filled with eager school spirit as more students than ever competed for A.S.B. offices. During February, RHS students danced at the Valentines Dance, watched the Don- key Basketball Game, and participated, through clubs, in the Foreign Exchange Student Week. Fee- Male Express Day, and the Pantheresses-Sagaths Basketball Game high-lighted March. These couples danced in the atmosphere of the music provided by The Tempos at the Winter Ball. One of the many colorful posters displayed .4 During All-Nations Week, Pantheresses sold votes for i'Mr, Ugly. The result of Cupid's hard work could be observed at the annual Valentines dance, Cupid's during campaigning showed the high school spirit during election time. --...,,,,,,,W Holiday.

Students found it necessary to come here many times during the year for supplies, tickets, and many types of orders. ou les at the annual Homec Many Alumni are seen among these c p Mistress of Ceremonies, Connie Ensign looks on as Mr. Mauk receives plaque for work done in Variety Show. Show where On the llth of December was the Variety many of the clubs entered acts. At this Variety Show, themed Dreamsville, trophies were won by Orchesis, Hi-Y, Sagaths, and Spinsters. The day before Christmas vacation was the annual Winter Ball, December Dreams, the only all-school formal dance of the year. The beginning of Christmas vacation also marked the end of the boomi-ng Pantherama sales leaving everyone in great anticipation of receiving their annuals in June. ln April, over 500 people attended the All-School Play, and The girls' clubs enioyed The Girls' Clubs Potluck. In May, the Junior-Senior Prom was an exciting evening especially for Prom Queen Dolores Pugliese, and Princess Barbara Harmon, Kathy Killackey, Irene Lasswell, and Helga Mueggenburg. The Spring Sing, also in May, was presented by Miss Kleekamp and The Music Department. June was both happy and sad for Seniors as They attended The Dinner- Dance, Baccalaureate, Graduation, and the All- Night Party. Memories were revived as The l96O Pantherama was distributed on June lOth. gm l 2 l Upper, These athletes stand in line for their awards at the Annual Awards Banquet, April 5, 1960. Lower. Practicing for Their starring roles in the Spring Sing, in April, are Ronald Brown, Paul Lasswell, Louise Croteau, and Doug Smith. It was man against beast as The Sophomores defeated the Sagaths defend their lead, but the Pantheresses Freshmen and the Juniors to win the Donkey Basketball game. went on to win in the Annual Pantheresses-Sagaths Basketball game on March 25. 5l
