The Girls' Recreation Association, better known on campus as GRA, is the only girls' athletic club on campus. All girls are eligible. Throughout the year, after school hours, the members prac- ticed the special techniques of different sports. Having become fairly skillful at these sports, they were then able to particiate with neighboring San Gabriel Valley schools in a playday, which was held in April, for girls' athletic associations. The sports enioyed by these girls during the year included: archery, tennis, basketball, softball, and swimming. Other events that bring back memories to the girls included a very successful car wash, and the annual selling of Easter corsages, which were colorful Easter bunnies.
