SENIORS 1957 In 1926 a group of 22 students entered the first grade of the Roscoe Public School. After seven short years 18 of the 22. gradu- ated into the high school with 56 other stu- dents that had joined them along the years. In high school this class ' began to show their superiority from the Freshmen year. They were well represented in all types of sports and other school activities. That year the junior baseball team, made up of Freshmen, won first place in the county meet. The junior basketball team, containing three Freshmen brought home a cup. Many were left behind in the first lap of high school life--only 57 registered as Sophmores in 1934 and this year was not an outstanding one for the class. However, they still took part in Junior and senior ath- letics of all kinds. No one will deny that the Junior Class of 1956 with 54 members was the outstanding class in school. Such vigor would be hard to find anywhere. The girls won the district volleyball contest, eight girls on t h e basketball team brought many trophies and honors home. The eleven junior boys helped greatly in winning the bi-district football championship to Roscoe. A very successful ,Junior play and JunforfSenior banquet will be long remembered. ' With such a background, the forty-one Seniors of 1937 have found it easy too carry on the good work. Football, basketball, volley ball, tennis, track, declamation, essay writing, one act play and Senior play have all been the work of the Seniors. The class has been well represented in every school activity. As they are graduated from Roscoe High School they may well be proud of their progress and servioe and look back upon one their eleven years of school life with sweet memories of many many happy times-
