I, Gary Novak, will and bequeath my curly hair to Donna Peterson, my ability to get along with the teachers to Delmar Novak, my hard running in Football to James Wood, My desk to anyone who likes to look out of the window, my hearty laugh to Joan Buchholz, and my ability to stay out of trouble to David Franson. I, Carol Slaughter, will and bequeath my cheerleading outfit to Bobby Wortman, my volleyball talent to Judy Reil, my report card grades to Susie Slaughter, and my pencils and pens to anyone who can get them to work. Senior Class Prophecy Year: 2000 Place: Moon We now join Ken Nelson, World renowned sportscaster, as he describes the first Sea of Thirst 500. This auto race is the most dangerous of all races including the 'Indianapolis' (Indi) 500. Favored to win the race is James 'Cautious' Muhle in his specially designed Lunar Cruiser. Years of research by the World renowned Physicist, Henry (The Brain) Canarsky, have gone into this prized machine. Favored to take second is Terrible-Tempered 'Sandy' Gustin. Backing her is the best pit crew in the universe, David 'Crankcase' Heise, who had years of experience in repairing antique autos while he attended R.H.S., and Clair 'Flash' Lundgren, who is known as the fastest tire-changer in the universe. A unique feature of this race is the fact that Francis 'Dead-eye' Wood was hired to disintegrate any lunar varment that happens to wonder onto the track. The winner of todays race will receive a bonus. Miss Carol Lee Va Va Voom, Slaughter, has agreed to give the winner a lifetime contract at Metor- Golden-Moon. Another bonus is a specially prepared dinner by Kathleen, Poisonous, Johnson who's cooking tastes almost like the food that Great Great Great Grandma used to make. We regret that Gary Novak will not be able to drive in this race. His engine vaporized in the time trials and is unable to be fixed.
