SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY We are gathered together to discuss the problems ol jet propelled hot-rodders or this year, 1999. in the metropolis of Kosville, Nebraska, Gene Busselman, the present patrol- mein is working under his famous motto: Have Badge, will Catch . Just yesterday he was called out on special duty to catch Hot-Rodder Patty Gustin , who has been terrorizing the town with her zooped-up Chevy. Joe Mallette, a promi- nent citizen of RosVille, has been filing complaints about this reckless driving. He claims that these crazy hot- rodders have been driving over his lawn, and have completely ruined his beautiful flower garden. Last night, Gene Busselman arrested Mary Donlin for reckless driving. When she was thrown into the county jail, she found the cellmate to be an old ex-con, Sharon Freel, with whom she went through school. Special services are be- ing held this Sunday at the County Jail for the prisoners by Rev. Albert Henry Krumwiede. Linda (Bass) Nelson accomp- anies him and sings to the prisoners. It just doesn't reach their hearts. Larry (Soprano) Pearson used to accompany Linda in the singing. R.W. (Arf) Blankenbeckler, professor at Yale College, is giving a lecture to a group of students about Teen-Age Driving . Kathleen Canarsky, president of the Hot-Rod Club , doesn't think much of Professor Blankenbeckler's speeches, for she has just completed a course teaching all the members of this club the fundamentals of Hot-Rod Driv- ing . Gerrett (Angelic) Pape, one of her students, just can't seem to get the Knack of hot-rodding. The local newspaper, in Sharon Eby's column, has been carrying articles on this disturbing situation. The last article carried information about Donna Andersen, who took her Dad's truck around town. She turned a corner too sharp- ly and the truck jack-knifed on her. Gary Burmester came putting over the hill in his Model-T Ford, and when his brakes failed, ran right into Donna. It caused quite a dis- turbance, and now tireless Gene Busselman has another case on his hands. If things get too bad, Gene can always rely on the fa- mous State Patrolman, Mr. Beck, to help him out. —Jacquiline Slaughter Dennis Anderson ♦
