SENIOR CLASS HISTORY In September, 19 8, a group of 11 youngsters, entering school for the first time, picked their way up the steps into the Rosalie Public School. Our teacher was Mrs. CoppLe. Mrs. Copple was our teacher again for the next year. We lost Loren and Larry Ahlers this year. The following year we were promoted to the third grade where we were all proud to be. Mrs. Orr was our teacher. This year we lost Dennis Anderson and gained Sharon Eby and Kenneth Freel. Mrs. Orr was our teacher again in the fourth and fifth grades. In our +th grade year we lost Wesley Wingett and gained Donald Newill. And in the 5th grade we gained Glenn Briggs. But unfortunately we lost him the same year. Our teacher for the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades was Mrs. Chambers. Kathleen Canarsky joined us in the 7th grsde. Joe Mallette and Gerrett Pape joined our class in the eighth grade. As we began our freshman year, Bethie Schneider and A1 Krumweide joined us from a countty school. Later, Larry Pearson moved to Rosalie, giving our class an enrollment of fifteen. The first week we were inita ted by the sophomores and were now full fledged high school students. We lost Bethie Schneider at the end of our first semester, but gain- ed R W Blankenblecker. Our sponsor was Larry Johnson. Class officers were: Linda Nelson, President; Gene Busselman, V. President; Joe Mallette, Secretary. While we were Sophomores, we were given the honor of in- itating the freshmen. Our sponsor was Mr. Ostdiek. This year our class decreased by the loss of Donald Newill and Kenneth Freel. Class officers were: Mary Donlin, President; R W Blankenbeckler, V. President; Donna Andersen, Secretary; Gerrett Pape, Treasurer. During the Junior year we ordered our class rings and gave the Junior-Senior Banquet with Song in My Heart as our theme. We presented our class play Faith, Hope, Flarity on November 1 +, 1959. In the magszine campaign we solicited $350 which financed our banquet. Our sponsor was Mrs. Whitcomb. Class officers were Gary Burmester, President; Donna Andersen, Secretary; Larry Pearson, Treasurer. As we approached the end of our high school career we found we had fourteen members in our Senior clsss. This year we were kept busy issuing the Bulldog once a month andprint- ing our annual, The Bulldog Growl. We journeyed to Sioux City where Genelli Studios took our class pictures. In the spring we gave our class play and went on our Sneak Day. Our officers were Sharon Freel, President; Linda Nelson, Secre- tary; Mary Donlin, Treasurer. Our sponsor was Mr. Beck.
