CLASS PROPHECY As I was leafing through one of my cld picture alburs the other day I came upon some pictures of the senior class of 19 6. I must admit there have been some drastic changes made. The first is of Miss Peaches of 19 9 » the former Gloria Newell of Rosalie. She won this title by outpicking all other contestants by two baskets of peaches. Her prize for winning was a basket of peaches and a husband for life. The last time I took count there were five little ones filing through the doors of their heme. Who is next but the man who gained fame through his pizza pies , De- loy Glister. He worked years on a recipe and finally came up with one. If you haven't ever eaten any, you will never get the chance because he died recently from eating too many cornflakes. Ah-ha, the next is the little A-V roop-de-Doop from Hollywood, Sherry Andersen. She plays the part of and is Gabby Hayes' scootin', shootin' little wife. Instead of guns in her holsters she has her sidekicks, her two twin girls, Debbie and Dottie who closely resemble tbeir daddy, Gabby. Fourth is Sharon Preston who can be found any day watching her husband participate in sports. She herself has not dene badly. Recently she wen the women's shot-put throwing contest which is nation wide. She tells me she keeps in shape by carrying groceries home for her husband to eat. The bobbysoxer of all times is on the next page. He is John Copple who has broken all records with his recording Two Ton Toney . He has dodged all the women so far but it looks like Martha Rayehas the inside track. Betty Krumwiede who has been nicknamed the Paul Bunyon of Rosalie be- cause of her unusual lumber-jacking abilities is next. She has competed against such men as Goose DeBoer, Fuzz 'Connor and Tiny Smith. Her av- erage is one tree a minute. The artist of the class comes next. Marcy Schneider is widely known for her drawings. She is internationally known for her artistic ideas. In case you're wondering what kind of work she does; she is a tattoer among our service men. Janette Plcha is now in Hawaii where she has become a prefessional hula dancer. She has attracted thousands of admirers with her dashing eyes and dark hair. During an interview with her I asked her who all the little hula skirts were for. She blushed and turned her head. A onetime member of the F.B.I. is next. Gene Eby has gone up in the world with his detective record. He had uncovered several of the ten most wanted men in the U.S.. Gene said he retired because there were some little criminals at home which came first. Some of the worlds leading fashions were created by the next person who is Karen Hennig. Her designs are copied by everyone everywhere. Right now she is living in a modest apartment in New York City. The most flaring of the class is Ruthann Bonneau who is a test driver for Dodge cars. Other test drivers have tagged her as the Speed Demon who comes from nowhere. Dodge says it's the car but we all think it is Ruthann. Last but far from least is Carol Nelson who writes a love-lorn column in a widely publicized paper. Carol says she answers some questions from her own experiences when she was younger. Carol still has one un- answered question and that is how to catch that certain man.
