“CLASS HISTORY l°M-' 6 On a t.vrical September day of that year several little beginners inarched through the prade school halls of the Rosalie Public School to the first and second prade room. Krs. Charles Johnson was our teacher the first two vears. Gloria Newill join- ed our class the second year. 10 .6- A° M0w we were another stem hipher. We moved into the third, fourth, and fifth prade room. Krs. Amelia Everett was our teacher the third vear. John Connie and Gene Eby became mem- bers of our class this' year. Mrs. Fred Orr was our teacher the fourth and fifth prade year. 10i,9 '52 The last step of prade school was comoleted in our six th, seventh, and eiphth prade room. Mrs. Leona Chambers was our instructor. Ruthann Bonneau -oined us our seventh prade year. In 1°52 at praduation exercises we received our eiphth prade di- plomas. ]052.»56 We were initiated into high school as green freshman. Instructors this vear were: Mr. O'Connor, Kr. Beck, Kiss Lewis, and Kr. Carl as our sponsor. Three newcomers joined us this year. Tb»v were Karev Schneider, Sherry Andersen, and Betty Krumwiede. At the end of the year, we enjoyed a trip to Sioux Cit.v for sooner and a three-deroension show. Class officers were Sharon Dreston, °res.; Gloria Newill, Vice Pres.; Carol Nelson, Sec,: and John Cooole, Treas.. The n°xt year, as sophomores, we initiated the Freshaon with the assistance of Kiss Lewis, our sponsor. The teachers were: Kr. O'Connor, Kr. Carl, Kr. Bucknell, and Kiss Lewis. Deloy Glister joined us this year transferring from Pender. Our class offi- cers were John Connie, Pres.; Deloy Gilster, Vice Pres.; Sharon Dreston, Sec.: and Carol Nelson, Treas.. Oominp closer to the end, we entered our junior year with Krs. Foster as our sponsor. Other instructors were: Mr. O'Connor, Kr. DeBoer, and Kr. Carl. Janette Picha joined us the second semester transferring from Beemer. Earlier this year we enjoyed a trip to Sioux City to attend the Hippodrome of Stars. The class sold magazines for banquet money and raised $709. This is the record for magazine sales in Rosalie High. We put on our rlav titled Aunt Cathie's Cat that was a big success. Our ban- ou»t was held at the Warrior Hotel in Sioux City with the theme of Kardi Gras. Our class officials were John CoDDle, Pres. Delov Gilster, Vice Pres.; Sharon Preston, Sec.; and Karen Hennic, Trees.. The final vear of hiph school found our class with twelve in number. V'e published the Bulldog once a month, and put out the annual, The Bulldog Growl. Genelli Studios, in Sioux City, took our class picture in the fall. We gave the Senior Class play Saved bv the Belle and took our Senior Sneak Day. The class officials were Karen Hennip, Pres.; Carol Nelson, Vice Pres. ; and Sharon Preston, Sec.-Treas.. Our teachers were Kr. O'Connor, our sponsor, Kr. Smith, Krs. ’Whitcomb, and Kr. DeBoer. Our last activitv at Rosalie Hiph was Commencement exercises held Kay 15. those completing twelve years of school together are Carol Nelson, Karen Hennig, and Sharon Preston.
