Willhite, Coach Strange, B. Cartwright, E. Willhite. Rosalie High School girls played the Cassoday girls in their first game of basketball this year. After trailing by two points at the half, the Cards won out in e close one M0-38. Benton came to Rosalie and our girls won their second straight, this time 29-19. Cessoday upset the epplecart in e return game played at Rosalie, and the home club dropped their first game Zh-30. Towanda floored a girls team for the first time in many years and played a good game before losing out to Rosalie 1?-13. When the Cambridge girls come to Rosalie you can always expect a close genus This year was no exception and the Cards won a thriller 37-33. In a return match with Benton, Rosalie was given e scare before win ing out 25-23 coming from behind with a big 3rd quarter. The Rosalie girls led all the way and outscored the Rose Hill girls 31-20. This gave the girls e six won, one lost record for the year. The fair sex cardinals played their last two games with Latham and lost both ball games by narrow margins. Latham won the game played at Rosalie M2-36 after ogetting off to a 27-16 halftime lead. In the game played at Latham, we lost out 38-33, again dropping behind at the start. Rosalie ended up with a 6-3 record for the year. Donneee Willhite was the leading scorer for the year with 138 points followed by Jeannine Pletoher with 68 points.
