'Q he J.B. Hillman ilfsw '58 -we it Judy Hillman There were School opened September 5, 1951 with twenty-four pupils enrolled. twelve fifth graders: John Dorsett, J. B. Hillman, Colleen Juby, Ken James Mead, Eleanor Parscal, R.P. Simon, Leslie Sprecher, Sheryl Strange, Ronnie Sutton, Jerry Swift, and David Traylor. There were also twelve six graders: Nancy Brittain, Mary Clarkson, Addie Cronk, Richard Dorsett, Judy Hillman, Allen Keplar, Raymond Keplar, Gerald Latta, Roy Long, Willis Long, Gene Strange, and Frances Weh ry. neth Lewis, Nona Corwin entered school the second week but again transferred to Oil Hill. James Meade also transferred to O11 Hill. Melva Zimmerman entered school the fourth week but left just before Christmas. We had a few birthday parties through the year and a nice Christmas party Eh a gift exch ange. I hope the students have enjoyed their work as much as I have enjoyed working with them.
