CLASS PROPHECY Listen my classmates prick up your ears, Do you know what will happen in twenty years? I've been peeking into the crystal ball To see what will happen to you all. Some Some Some Some Some But will will will will will go East some will go West, just remain on the same old nest. go North some will go South, just sit around and run off at the mouth get married, some will stay single, all will be famous to make your ears tingle, Way up North in a fur lined pool, I met Norma Meredith from my dear 'ole school. She was teaching young Eskimos how to swim And to keep their figures neat and trim. Way down South in a little igloo We see Wayne Meredith and Peggy Lou, Supporting a family of twenty-two. Don't you think that is quite a few?? While back East during the big snow I saw Petunia stalled, she just wouldn't go. I pulled alongside to take me a look-- There was Don and Lorna playing Rook. HJ Way out West in the land of cattle What is this we see-an Indian battle? lo, wait until the dust is through, And you will see it is only Robert and Mary Lou. Over in Wichita in '72 We have a surprise for you There's Loren doing what!! Running a used car lotllll Way out West in Reno Rollin dice in a Casino Whom do we see having the time of his life? Loren Max Thompson and his 13th wifelllll Out in Hollywood feeling gay Whom do we see but' Lyle Gray With his Sth wife out sw1mm1n-- They say he still has a way with the wimmin. Way out West tall in the saddle We see Chuck Simon counting his cattle. It's really quite a job for mixed in among 'em There's 3,000 oil wells and all of them humminlllll As journeying by Louisville We find Donnese running a cotton mill. She has roamed all over the forty-eight Looking for her long lost mate. Way back in the little Rosalia town Norma Jean Short married and settled down. Nine sons she has and to me it would seem, They have enough for their own baseball team. CContinued on next page!
