'T l .- .Q lt ,Q Boys' Club Serves Would you like to help plan and direct a Father-Son Dessert or Hot Rod Show, or help make a scrapbook highlighting athletic events? Boys at Roosevelt are provided with the opportunity to participate in many different ways through the Boys' Club. Four hundred fathers and sons attended the annual Father-Son Dessert held on December 8. The principal speaker was Roy McKasson of the Huskies, Rose Bowl Champions. Special entertainment was provided by the Highline High School tumbling and trampoline act. Bruce Winter and Pete Howard were general supervisors of the annual event. Roosevelt boys are represented by the Boys' Club Cabinet. lt consists of the officers and other members appointed by the officers and Mr. Robert Bell, Boys' Club Adviser. Cabinet meets Wednesday mornings to coordinate the activities of the different committees and to prevent the overlapping of ideas. f These five cars won top honors in the fall Hot Rod Show, held annually by the Boys' Club. 27
