Two members from each roll room are chosen to represent their rolls in the Student Council by taking the requests of their group to the Council and reporting the results of the Student Council action. They often assume leadership within their rolls by reading bulletins, assisting with drives and other activities. Pass sales are boosted through posters, assemblies, and roll room skits which are organized by the Pass Sales Committee. Individual students and organizations can present their problems to the Student Council for arbitration. An example of cooperation between the students and faculty is present in the organization of the Finance Committee. The members of lnter-High Traffic Safety Committee work with the Seattle Police Department, as well as the faculty and students, in promoting the development of better safety habits by all Roosevelt students and faculty. The Traditions Committee keeps the Teddy tradi- tions alive by supervising Color Week, the Color Day assembly, the trophy case, and Campus Day.
